AI vs PA

There’s a lot of talk about AI right now. While it has certainly helped us become more efficient, it also raises questions about its limits. At Team Crucial PA, we've summed up what we believe AI can’t quite take over yet.

Tracking down a lost laptop at Heathrow:

AI might give you suggestions, but it won’t hassle the lost property team, catch a last minute flight to New York and deliver the laptop just in time for an important meeting, especially before the world shuts down for Christmas.

Recognising when a client is overwhelmed:

AI won’t yet notice when a client has too much on and suggest they take a step back, reduce their diary for a few days, and let us manage their schedule.

Last-minute diary changes:

There are lots of great apps for scheduling, but none can adjust a meeting by a millisecond, or anticipate a sudden change and stand in for a client.

In-person updates:

Nothing beats having a chat over a cup of tea about the weekend and planning for the week ahead

Being generally aware of the client's needs:

We ensure our client's day runs smoothly, often off-grid and off-task. It’s not just about what’s on the to-do list or calendar apps - it’s about using our common sense and our understanding of their needs to make things happen.

Always on standby:

We are on standby throughout the day to address anything that doesn't go according to plan - while we may log off, we never truly switch off.

We know things are evolving, but at Crucial PA, our role isn’t to simply follow a to-do list, ical or app. We are the client's 'app,' adapting in real-time to situations that aren’t always within our, or the client’s control.

Just a few things we handle....
