Summer Stories with Crucial PA🌞

Welcome to our summer roundup! At Crucial PA, we’re all about supporting the movers and groovers in the entertainment world, from actors to musicians and filmmakers who keep things creative, chaotic, and oh-so-exciting. 

Each season brings something different, and this summer is busy. Whether we’re navigating packed schedules or switching roles, we’re always balancing client needs, shifting timelines, and personal boundaries, all while staying grounded. Summer teamwork is everything, and for those of us who are not travelling and have capacity, we love to step in and cover busy desks, run errands, and ensure the client roster is always fully supported.  

June: Glastonbury & Festival Life🎪

We kicked off June in the best way possible, at Glastonbury, where we switched into full Tour Manager mode. Supporting clients at festivals means long nights, endless steps (about 40,000+ a day!), and a lot of backstage buzz. One highlight was being behind the scenes at Block 9, with our brilliant DJ client performing at the IICON stage. It allowed us the opportunity to hang out with the incredible Block 9 team, including Taz, Gideon, and the crew - pure magic.  

From Glasto to Ibiza 🌴

With barely time to unpack, we’re heading to Ibiza, where some of the team will be based for a few weeks. Some of our clients have residencies throughout July and August, while others are enjoying some downtime; we’re helping to support both. We’ve also been booking dreamy stays in Formentera. Huge thanks to Sarah and the team at Can Tres for being so amazing. This year, some of our clients have wanted a more laid-back vibe on Formentera, and Sarah and the team have been wonderful to work with.  A big shout-out to the reservations team at Casa Jondal. Thank you for always finding us or trying to find us a table.  

Ibiza is always a busy one for us, and we are super excited to experience Burberry’s residency this year, on the rooftop of the Standard Hotel.  

Barbados Views🏝️

While Ibiza was buzzing, one of our team flew out to Barbados to prep several of the Airbnb's we help manage out there. Prepping properties in the Caribbean before the hurricane season kicks in is a big job, but nothing beats working with ocean views, a wonderful team of trades and checking in with the most amazing housekeeping team, Katrina and Gersine, who help us run The Pink House. 

A Week in Montreux 🎷

July also brings the incredible Montreux Jazz Festival. We have clients performing, opening shows, hosting talks, and more. It’s a full week of music, inspiration, and unforgettable moments. One of our favourite stops on the calendar. 

August: Slower Days, Earlier Planning🌞

August is when things slow down (a little). Most of our clients take a break, and we love that for them. That said, August is usually planned and booked by February, and we’ve had the joy of working with @Di Cherry and her fabulous team at Cherry Travel, as well as @Timmy Coles-Liddle at Nine Concierge, who take the reins on logistics with total ease. This summer, our clients are off to Corsica, Ibiza, the South of France and later in the year, St Kitts. 

Coming Up: Notting Hill Carnival🎡

And finally, something new! This year, we’ll be supporting one of our clients backstage at Notting Hill Carnival as they run their sound system. It’s a first for us; we are usually in front of the stage, and we’re buzzing to be part of it.
